Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Friends.
Volunteering can offer many benefits to the individual, including social interaction, new friends, and the personal satisfaction of providing a welcome service to others.
Our volunteers bring many skills with them along with their individual personalities. Volunteering opportunities include the bookstore(s), fundraisers such as the Gently Used Purse Sale and Wine Soiree, serving as a board member, and community events such as the Librarian Luncheon and Read Together Diamond Bar.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age and a high school graduate (If you are under 18 please contact the Diamond Bar Library at (909) 861-4978 or walk in to speak to a staff member.) Please note you must be 21+ to volunteer at the Wine Soiree. If you are under the age of 18 please do not contact us through this form.
- Fluent in English
- Bookstore volunteers: Must commit to a 3 hour shift within the assigned hours once a week or once every 2 weeks on a long-term basis, and must be fully vaccinated against COVID19
