I want to thank all our guests, food hosts, sponsors, donors, and our wonderful team of volunteers for supporting our 32nd Wine Soirée. Because of your participation, it was a great success! Thank you!
Inspired by the theme “Sippin on the Ritz,” the Grand Ballroom at the Diamond Bar Center was decorated in gold and black and festooned with balloons, feathers, and all things sparkly with music playing throughout the day.
This year’s food hosts from Diamond Bar and surrounding communities served tasty offerings from their restaurants. From noodles and fried rice to south-of-the-border empanadas to pizza and colorful anti-pesto to fresh fruits and creamy coconut dessert to cookies and pastries, it was a feast to behold and an adventure for our taste buds. Our restaurants outdid themselves this year!
About the wines: they were delicious! Many of them were produced from prestigious wine regions. This year, we are so happy to welcome new wine sponsors: Rick Shiba and Falkner Winery. Our French wine table was also a surprise big hit.
As always, the live and silent auctions were lively and full of excitement. Everyone cheered for the winners of special dinners, vacation stays, and tickets to events. Our silent auction baskets were beautiful as always! Thank you to the teams that came up with one-of-a-kind auction items and then wrapped them with special flair.
Our new wine wall this year was very popular. Some lucky winners even walked away with wines valued at over $100. No wonder this game was a sell out!
The Friends of the Library are very grateful for every one of our sponsors and donors, all the generous food hosts, the many generous guests that attend the event, and the amazing group of volunteers that worked together to produce this year’s exceptional celebration of our Diamond Bar Library.
As always, all the proceeds of this fundraiser directly go to support our Library. A great big Thank You to everyone for supporting the Wine Soiree!
