We welcome your interest in the Friends! There are many ways to get involved…
Please consider volunteering at our nonprofit bookstore inside the Diamond Bar Library as a cashier or donation sorter.
You may also consider helping with fundraisers such as the Wine Soiree and Benefit Auction, Gently Used Purse Sale, or events such as our annual Librarian Appreciation and Read Together Diamond Bar, among other opportunities.
We encourage you to sign up for our printed semi-annual newsletter and our monthly e-newsletter. They will inform you on what’s coming up with the Friends and where future volunteer help could be put to good use.
Another way to get involved is with a monetary donation to the Friends.
Donations made to the Friends will go to our general fund, where they will support ongoing library programs. You may also consider a donation to our Endowment Fund. Donations made to the Endowment Fund are invested for the long term, and earnings on the Fund are used for books, media materials, and technology upgrades. The Endowment Fund can also be considered a rainy-day fund for use when the County’s library budget is unable to provide for the needs of the library.
